The Cottage
Authenticity and comfort
Le Malhureau is an 18th-century stone house, fully restored, combining old-world charm with modern comfort. Over 140 m², it accommodates up to 8 guests in a warm setting. The ground floor opens onto a kitchen-dining room, leading (via 2 steps) to the living room, 2 bedrooms, and (via 2 steps as well) to a toilet and a shower room. The upper floor offers a landing and 2 additional bedrooms, one with a private bathroom.
Kitchen & dining room
The kitchen is fully equipped (induction hob, fridge-freezer, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher). A large table seats all guests comfortably.
Living room
The living room is a large, friendly space, perfect for sharing great moments with family or friends. You will find a Smart TV for your movie nights, as well as a selection of board games for fun and warm moments. In winter, the wood-burning stove brings a cosy and warm atmosphere, perfect for gathering by the fire.

Outdoor
The cottage opens onto a large courtyard with terrace, lawn, barbecue and garden furniture. At the back, a spacious garden features a ping-pong table, secured access to the pool (shared with the owners), and a henhouse with hens, roosters and geese. A green and peaceful setting, in the heart of cereal fields, to fully enjoy the Touraine countryside.
The Pool
Enjoy our private 5 × 10 metre pool, open from 15 June to 15 September. Secured access, surrounded by a relaxation area with sun loungers.
